When scriptures are interpreted in light of present day circumstances rather than in their original intent then biblically fallacious applications or bad doctrine, often arise.
This is not to say that scriptures do not have modern day applications but rather we ought not to force the applications from anything other than what was originally intended.
Case in point, the mystery that Jesus revealed... once one understands what exactly that was then much of scriptures become much better understood and the application therefore becomes more apparent and for many, such as myself for years, they would discover that their prior application of certain scriptures was done so entirely out of context.
The fellowship of the mystery has always been the will of the almighty Creator, our Father in heaven, who has purposed from the beginning to bring all men who would repent and turn to Him through the blood of His Son Jesus Christ.
So it should not be a mystery to the either the genetic seed of Abraham nor the gentile (Greek, not a descendant of Abraham, etc...) who were previously separated but are now reconciled back to the Father together in Christ.
For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of 🤔this mystery👈👈👈, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until 🤔the fulness of the Gentiles be come in👈👈👈. Romans 11:25

Once we get the context clear then we can understand what this mystery is. I t really is quite clear and simple.
This core concept is a unifying theme throughout Paul's Epistles as well as the entirety of scriptures.
And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, Ephesians 6:19
Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: Colossians 1:26-28
