Eternal Perspective...

A life of sinful disobedience will result, 👉in the END👈, 👉in DEATH👈...

A life of willful obedience in Christ, will result, 👉in the END👈, 👉in LIFE👈….

At conception all lives become eternal, one way or another, but our choices here on earth have a lot to do with the final outcome.

What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for

👉 the END of those things is DEATH👈🤔.

But

👉NOW🤔👈👉 BEING MADE FREE FROM SIN, AND BECOME SERVANTS TO GOD👈,

ye have your fruit unto HOLINESS, and

👉the END🤔 👈👉EVERLASTING LIFE👈.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:21-23

Only God is forever and always eternal while we are essentially the toned-down version of the definition of eternal, third and fourth down the list actually...

ETER'NAL, adjective [Latin oeternus, composed of oevum and ternus, oeviternus, Varro. The origin of the last component part of the word is not obvious. It occurs in diuturnus, and seems to denote continuance.]

1. Without beginning or end of existence.

2. Without beginning of existence.

3. Without end of existence or duration; everlasting; endless; immortal.

4. Perpetual; ceaseless; continued without intermission.

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even 👉His eternal power and Godhead👈; so that they are without excuse: Romans 1:20

Now unto the 👉King eternal, immortal👈, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen. 1 Timothy 1:17

How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the 👉eternal Spirit👈 offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? Hebrews 9:14

Our perspective ought to be always of the eternal as we, by God's grace, after the sufferings of this world, will be with our Father in His eternal glory. This is only possible through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. 1 Peter 5:10

Disclaimer for those who are opposed to good works and who cling to a watered-down version of obedience and thus incorrectly diminish the overall value and necessity of obedience through good works:

Keep in mind that Jesus Christ is "...the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him (Hebrews 5:9) and that we need to "work out" our "own salvation with fear and trembling" (Philippians 2:12) because "faith without works is dead"( Philippians 2:12).

I needed to throw that disclaimer in due to what I stated earlier, “our choices here on earth have a lot to do with the final outcome”. I always anticipate the naysayers chomping at the bit and fixating on things as such based on my past experience as an indoctrinated step-child of Calvin, Augustine, and other heretics who came before me and whom I never questioned until later in life…Further elaboration on this can be found in many of past writings. Feel free to look those up on your own time.

Remember…” He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him.” Proverbs 18:13…

So, in conclusion,

He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. John 12:25

Keep the right and constant focus on the living side of eternity in all that we think, say and do!

Holiness or Sinfulness?

“Holiness” and “Holy” are perhaps the most under-emphasized and rarely used words in the pulpits of modern Christianity. If and when they are referred to, they are typically watered down by man-made d
