He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.

Do you sin every day in every thought, word and deed? Then you are the one who hath no rule over your own spirit. He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls. Proverbs 25:28 Do you claim that you are not able to not sin every day? Then you are admitting by your own words that you are not walking after the Spirit. This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. [17] For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would...If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Galatians 5:16-17 and 25 If you are one who admits that you cannot abstain from sinning then you are one who admits to walking after the flesh whether you want to openly admit it or not. Sadly, if this is you, then you are condemned by God for your refusing to live in repentance of sin and by not walking after the Spirit in righteousness and instead you walk after the flesh. There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. [2] For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. [3] For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: [4] That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. [5] For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. [6] For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. [7] Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. [8] So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. Romans 8:1-8 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame. 1 Corinthians 15:34 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. [12] The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. [13] Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. [14] But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof. Romans 13:11-14 For the naysayer that crys out that it is impossible to not sin, God is more than able to keep you from falling. Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, Jude 1:24

Holiness or Sinfulness?
