Do you believe in absolute truth?

Do you believe that with God all things are absolutely possible, especially regarding the things that He said He would do?

Do you believe that God can absolutely keep you from sinning since He said He could?

Do you believe you can, with God's absolute power, go the next second, minute, hour or day without sinning?

If so then go and sin no more as He has commanded.

If not then your God is absolutely not the God of the Bible.

Inevitability someone will attack this claim despite the Biblical proofs. They will do this in order to essentially defend sin over holiness. Shame on you if you do this.

Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen. Jude 1:24-25

But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil. 2 Thessalonians 3:3

But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. 1 Peter 1:15-16

You absolutely do not have to die and go to heaven in order to be absolutely free indeed from sin. Being set absolutely free from sin starts absolutely now and in this life. This is only if you are absolutely sold out to the One whose blood absolutely atoned for your sin.

You may ask if “absolutely” is absolutely necessary to drive home this point and the answer is absolutely as our God is the God of absolute truth!!!

Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. John 8:34-36

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. In reference to John 5:14 where Jesus said “sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee”, Peter later confirmed this truth: For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire. 2 Peter 2:20-22
