And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: [13] And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. [14] And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. [15] And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, [16] And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. [17] And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? [18] There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. [19] And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole. Luke 17:12-19

O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever. [35] And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise. [36] Blessed be the Lord God of Israel for ever and ever. And all the people said, Amen, and praised the Lord. 1 Chronicles 16:34-36

Thine, O Lord, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord , and thou art exalted as head above all. [12] Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all. [13] Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name. 1 Chronicles 29:11-13 He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man. [49] Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O Lord, among the heathen, and sing praises unto thy name. Psalm 18:48-49 I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O Lord: [7] That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works. [8] Lord, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth. Psalm 26:6-8 KJV Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; [12] To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever. Psalm 30:11-12 I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving. Psalm 79:13 It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: [2] To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night, [3] Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound. [4] For thou, Lord , hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands. Psalm 92:1-4 O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. [2] Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. [3] For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. [4] In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also. [5] The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land. [6] O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker. [7] For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice, [8] Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness: [9] When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work. Psalm 95:1-9 Rejoice in the Lord, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness. Psalm 97:12 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. [3] Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. [4] Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. [5] For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. Psalm 100:1-5 O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people. [9] He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry. [10] He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man. [11] The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy. [12] Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion. [13] For he hath strengthened the bars of thy gates; he hath blessed thy children within thee. [14] He maketh peace in thy borders, and filleth thee with the finest of the wheat. [15] He sendeth forth his commandment upon earth: his word runneth very swiftly. [16] He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes. Romans 6:17-18 I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ; [5] That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge; [6] Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: [7] So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: [8] Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 1:4-8 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. [11] And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, [12] Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever.
