Little Missionaries???

The logic that many Christian parents use regarding sending their children as "missionaries" or as the "salt and light" into institutionalized schools is horribly fallacious in light of God's Word.
It is really the equivalent of sending them alone, separated from their parent's protection and guidance, into a foreign country or perhaps into an inner city gang situation to be the "salt and light" like David Wilkerson did with the dangerous street gangs in New York City. David was a grown man who was called by God when he did it. He wasn't a child.
It is ludicrous to make any assumptions that children can be prepared to minister to others as well as, at the same time, being able to guard their eyes, ears and hearts from the pervasive evils that surround them in the educational institutions.
This behavior is really quite similar in spirit to the offering of the lives of children to Molech as people did in times past. The parents who are sending their children into the institutions are setting their children up for spiritual and eternal death and many parents are oblivious to this even though the Bible specifically warns against such practices. If we yoke our children with spiritually dead children and with spiritually dead teachers within the spiritually dead institutionalized systems then the outcome is inevitably spiritual (eternal) death.
Please do not yoke yourself or your children with spiritually dead unbelievers as this has grave eternal consequences!!!
Be ye not unequally yoked
together with unbelievers:
for what fellowship hath
righteousness with unrighteousness?
and what communion hath
light with darkness?
And what agreement hath
the temple of God with idols?
for ye are the temple
of the living God;
as God hath said,
I will dwell in them,
and walk in them;
and I will be their God,
and they shall be my people.
And will be a Father unto you,
and ye shall be my sons and daughters,
saith the Lord Almighty.
