Slothful In Place...

The mantra of today is:

"There is a scary deadly virus in the streets, I shall be slain in the streets so I must obey men and stay home and not work".

So we listen to man's fallacious counsel instead of God's and submit ourselves to orders of "slothful in place". AKA as "shelter in place" or more accurately, "house arrest".

Many today are being literally commanded by men to submit to slothfulness due to fear.

We are commanded by God to do just the opposite.

The wrong models today are being followed.

The vulnerable, those with medical conditions and advanced age, should be asked to stay home and be safe.

All others should work.

After all this is what we were commanded to do.

A side note for those who are opposed to accepting the Biblical fact that good works have an integral role in salvation, now you don't have to work at all. How about that?

This is what God's word says about slothfulness:

The slothful man saith, There is a lion (👉👉👉VIRUS, OR WHATEVER EXCUSE YOU WANT TO USE TO JUSTIFY NOT WORKING 👈👈👈) without, I shall be slain in the streets. Proverbs 22:13

God said it twice so we wouldn't miss it but sadly many have....

For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: 👉👉👉THAT YE BE NOT SLOTHFUL👈👈👈, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises. Hebrews 6:10-12

The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but 👉👉👉THE SLOTHFUL SHALL BE UNDER TRIBUTE👈👈👈. Proverbs 12:24

👉👉👉THE WAY OF THE SLOTHFUL MAN IS AS AN HEDGE OF THORNS👈👈👈: but the way of the righteous is made plain. Proverbs 15:19

👉👉👉HE ALSO THAT IS SLOTHFUL IN HIS WORK IS BROTHER TO HIM THAT IS A GREAT WASTER👈👈👈. Proverbs 18:9

👉👉👉SLOTHFULNESS CASTETH INTO A DEEP SLEEP; AND AN IDLE SOUL SHALL SUFFER HUNGER👈👈👈. Proverbs 19:15

👉👉👉A SLOTHFUL MAN HIDETH HIS HAND IN HIS BOSOM, AND WILL NOT SO MUCH AS BRING IT TO HIS MOUTH AGAIN👈👈👈. Proverbs 19:24

🤔 👉👉👉The Desire Of The Slothful Killeth Him; FOR HIS HANDS REFUSE TO LABOUR👈👈👉🤔. Proverbs 21:25

👉👉👉AS THE DOOR TURNETH UPON HIS HINGES, SO DOTH THE SLOTHFUL UPON HIS BED.

THE SLOTHFUL HIDETH HIS HAND IN HIS BOSOM; IT GRIEVETH HIM TO BRING IT AGAIN TO HIS MOUTH.

THE SLUGGARD IS WISER IN HIS OWN CONCEIT THAN SEVEN MEN THAT CAN RENDER A REASON👈👈👈. Proverbs 26:14-16

👉👉👉BY MUCH SLOTHFULNESS THE BUILDING DECAYETH; AND THROUGH IDLENESS OF THE HANDS THE HOUSE DROPPETH THROUGH👈👈. Ecclesiastes 10:18

Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; 👉👉👉NOT SLOTHFUL IN BUSINESS👈👈👈; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality. Romans 12:10-13

If your argument to this is "its a matter of safety, or anything remotely similar, then you only prove God's point.
