Repentance is a literal change of mind. This means you stop doing what you know is wrong. If you do not stop sinning then a worse thing happens. So what can be worse if you were previously heading for hell before you were made whole? The answer is, by going back to your sin you are now going to hell knowing that you could have avoided this by repenting, which means STOP SINNING!!!! Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee. John 5:14 For if *** after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the KNOWLEDGE of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ ***, they are *** again entangled therein ***, and overcome, *** the latter end is worse with them than the beginning ***. [21] For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, **** after they have KNOWN it ****, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. [22] But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire. 2 Peter 2:20-22 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. John 8:11 You should tell others the same...STOP SINNING!!!
