...he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved...

And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. Matthew 10:22 No doubt some dispensationalist will read the title and the first verse above and then will immediately start claiming this is in reference to only those who will go through the great tribulation and that the saving is physical and not spiritual. They are sadly playing the parrot and just squawking off whatever is fed to them. The writer of Hebrews provides support to the fact that the context is clearly spiritual and not just for those going through the great tribulation. But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end. Hebrews 3:6 The writer of Hebrews uses "hold fast" in place of "endure" but contextually these are equals. Both references are speaking about enduring or holding fast until the end and both speak to the end goal of being saved. The writer of Hebrews says "whose house we are, *** if*** we hold fast... " If" being a conditional statement renders the opposite, not holding fast, as being the option or path of one not being His house or think of it as not being the "Spiritual house" that Peter said believers were in the fifth verse of the second chapter in his first epistle. It is also beneficial to bring up Mark's reference because he included more of Jesus' words that should help the seemingly helpless dispensationalist understand that this wasn't just for a select group of people, it was meant for "all". Look to the last verse of the chapter where Jesus said, "...what I say unto you I say unto all...". And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. Mark 13:13 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch. Mark 13:37

One final reference that clarifies the context further. Jesus said this to the church in Sardis but this also has a universal application to all believers, as we have seen from Jesus messages earlier as well as what the writer of Hebrews provided.

He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. Revelation 3:5
