Take heed brethren...you can depart...

You cannot depart from something you were never a part of in the first place. Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. Hebrews 3:12 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 1 Timothy 4:1 You cannot fall from something you were never on in the first place. Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. Galatians 5:4 If a person fell off a ladder you cannot say they were never on the ladder to start with. People today perform scriptural contortions in order to justify illogically that someone who fell from faith were somehow never in the faith. This thinking is double-minded and extremely unstable. There are many preachers of vanity in the churches of today. A false gospel that peddles selfish assurance instead of offering blessed assurance is an abomination to God. A gospel that gives false assurance that people can remain in sin and still be saved directly opposes God's word and condemns those who preach it as well as those who receive it. God hates sin and the wages of sin is death. The soul that sinneth dies. A gospel of blessed assurance includes both the propitiation for sin as well as a life lived in sanctified holiness apart from sin. For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. [19] While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. [20] For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. [21] For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. [22] But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire. 2 Peter 2:18-22
