Are you justified even when you sin?

Claiming justification as a Christian is not to ever be used to justify sin. Yet people do it anyways. They believe that they can go on sinning without repentance because they were once "saved" by the blood of Jesus. They believe they can go on sinning because they are justified by God's grace. This really is no different than the Pharisees using, or trying to use, God's law to justify themselves. If you try to use God to excuse your sin in any way such as this then you are in need of rebuke as the pharissees were rebuked by Jesus for their attempts to justify themselves. If you are currently living in sin then you need to repent because you cannot continue on in sin without repentance and expect to be saved no matter how much you claim to be justified. And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God. Luke 16:15 People lean on verses such as Romans 3:23-24 to justify their "justification" even though they continue on in sin. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; [24] Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Romans 3:23-24 It sounds like they can get away with it until you read the following verses to get the full context as to how justification actually works. Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; [26] To declare, I say , at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. Romans 3:25-26 A true follower of Jesus Christ knows that they cannot take advantage of God's grace and continue on in sin. They know that their past sins were forgiven by the blood of Jesus and that they do not have a license to sin without repentance as they move forward in life after meeting Jesus at the cross. The true believer knows that if they sin then they are essentially putting Jesus back on the cross to crucify Him again and by doing so they bring shame upon the One who spilled His blood and died so that they might be saved.

If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. Hebrews 6:6 What shall we say then?
