Do any of you out there still try to defend that murderer???

John Calvin premeditated his part in Servetus' murder and he justified it afterwards as well. As per his own record he never repented. Paul murdered and he did so before he met the Lord on the road to Damascus and never tried to justify his part in any of the murders done prior to his conversion but instead he confessed and repented. People try to use crazy examples such as the Sons of Thunder as some kind of excuse for Calvin or to some how try to justify Calvin's part in murder. I am still baffled that someone actually just tried to use that as some kind of an example and I asked him why would he do that? Crazy! James and John were likely called the Sons of Thunder by Jesus in Mark 3:17 because of them saying things such as "Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did?" This was in Luke 9:54. In the following verse Jesus rightly rebuked them for saying this very wrong statement. Jesus told them exactly what He would have told Calvin as well. He said, "the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them". Really, Calvin should have known better and not participated in the murder. He really should have done differently but instead he set Servetus up for murder. Jesus ...is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.(2 Peter 3:9). Calvin really should have known better than to rob a man of his life and thus taking from him any chance at any future repentance. Even if one believes that Servetus was somehow predetermined or predestined by God to go to hell, which of course God didn't, but even if He did, is there any justification for murder, ever??? My question still is, when is murder justified? My answer is the Bible's answer and that is "never!" Because murderers have no place in heaven. Why do people fight so hard to defend a murderer? I will never defend Paul's part in Stephen's murder and neither would Paul. He was more interested in saving souls after his own salvation instead of killing people and robbing them of any future chance for them to be saved. What scripture justifies Calvin's part in the killing of Servetus? Calvin used the Old Testament to do so and he was dead wrong to do so. This doesn't mean the Old Testament is not relevant for anything today it just means Calvin did not have Biblical justification at all. 

Again, what scripture justifies Calvin, you, me or anyone in committing murder? 

Being an accomplice equates to murder so that's not an valid excuse either... 

It's just wrong.
