Who is Caesar in America?

This does not get asked at all these days it seems.

"We the people" are supposed to be the ruling class not "Them the politicians".

In America "We the people" should be Caesar but somehow we have fallen under the delusion that it is "Them the politicians" that rule this roost.

As Christians who are part of "We the people" due to birth or legal citizenship it is our duty to God to demand at every level God's standards and not our own, especially were money goes and the laws that we impose across the board.

Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not? But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites? Shew me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny. And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's. Matthew 22:17-21
