A big need for repentance in our Country...

Instead of repenting he boasts of his business endeavors which include things that are abominations to God and that opposes God's character.

If he was truly changed and was born again he would not be boastful as such and he would publicly denounce his role in promoting gambling, his adulterous affairs and other sins that continue to keep him separated from God.

This man has not shown true contrition as David did (see Psalm 51). He is a very public figure and his private life should be part of his resume. The Democrats wanted to look the other way with Clinton and his affairs, which were many and not just with Monica, and now the Republicans, some Christian, are doing the exact same thing with Trump. This is utter hypocrisy! A Public person's personal record in America should be open and clean. As a part of "We the people" I expect as much on my end as a follower of Jesus Christ. Our country is not acting in a way that is pleasing to God from either side of the aisle. Everyone just wants to be comfortable in their own way and they need political control in their minds to do so. Sad, very sad. Yes the man needs to repent and get right with God but our country does as well in a big way. This verse alone indicates that Trump as well as many in our country, including professing Christians, are in grave danger with God if they do not repent and get right.

For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak. [13] Consume them in wrath, consume them , that they may not be: and let them know that God ruleth in Jacob unto the ends of the earth. Selah. Psalm 59:12-13

That's just one verse but the entirety of God's word says that these souls will be separated for eternity from their Creator in utter torment.

But it seems we spend more time approving and supporting them than we do praying for them to repent. They get our approval as long as they do our bidding...

We need to sincerely pray for his soul as well as our country's.

We all need to repent and get right with God!
