Imputed? Well use it then!

Imputed righteousness is somehow an excuse to continue on in sin. 

Think about that, if righteousness has been imputed then it ought to be used. 

You now have righteousness now walk in it, live in it, and stop making excuses for sin! For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, [12] Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Titus 2:11-12 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. 1 Peter 2:24
