GOD IS LOVE!

What happens when you try to say that God is just love…?

The modern application of God is love (1 John 4:8) has been misapplied so much in today's church that most people have lost sight of who God really is.

Yes, He is love indeed but he is much more…

People have gone off the Biblical reservation and have adopted ungodly sayings such as “God loves the sinner but hates the sin”. They have done so to their own destruction as it opens the door for the acceptance of sin and God has never approved of this and in the end sinners will be judged by God.

The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity. Psalm 5:5

For those that cannot see this, ‘workers of iniquity’ are sinners.

These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren. Proverbs 6:16-19

So that the reader does not miss this again, a proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood…and…an heart that deviseth wicked imaginations and feet that be swift in running to mischief all belong to, you guessed it, sinners. God hates these, do not be mistaken. Unless one continues to have trouble accepting this, the false witness that speaketh lies and he that soweth discord among brethren, are sinners as well. Let’s not be any of these as God hates those.

By understanding the full nature of God one can better understand why it is indeed a fearful things to fall into the hands of the living God (Hebrews 10:31).

So while God hates the sinner and the sin…He, at the same time…so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16). Do not lose sight of the important fact that…He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him (John 3:36).
