Are your politics played out according to your's or God's rules?

Christians wonder why abortion is still legal and why we have lost as well in other areas regarding sin in today's political landscapes.
Professing Christians compromise far too often for the sake of so-called political expediency.
They fall prey to the world's philosophy that the ends justify the means, even if it means having to deviate ever so slightly from God's word in order to get what we perceive as something good in the end.
This is compromising.
You cannot hide it under the guise of so-called bipartisanship. At it's core it is really just compromising. When this is done one gets what often is not really good at all but instead the lesser of two evils. In God's economy the lesser of two evils is still evil.
Christians are called to not compromise and to abstain from all appearances of evil.
If we focus on doing that instead of playing political football as per the world's rules then maybe we can expect God to help us.
Until then, we are on our own.
As Christians we should play our politics according to God's rules and not our own...
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. [2] And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:1-2
Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. [22] Abstain from all appearance of evil. 1 Thessalonians 5:21-22
