Be ye holy...or can you?

It seems that the rhetoric of today's unholy gospel is that one cannot be holy. After all, they claim we are only human and born sinners and cannot be holy. Yet we are specifically called by God to be holy. Are you seeking after holiness or do you give into sin because you believe that you have no other option? We are called to be holy and should seek for nothing less. So be ye holy and stop believing the lies that you cannot obtain it. For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness. 1 Thessalonians 4:7 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. 1 Peter 1:16 Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord ? or who shall stand in his holy place? [4] He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. Psalm 24:3-4 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. [18] Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. [19] I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
