Are we to be at liberty with our liberty?

People have compromised on worship, dress, music, entertainment, drinking, smoking, tattoos, an much more and all under the guise of "Christian liberty". They use Christian liberty to justify selfishness when it was intended for something else altogether. This is the case going back to mainly around the time of Constantine. It has gotten much worse the last couple of centuries. It is sad that today's "Christians" lean so much on a modern non-biblical definition of "Christian Liberty" in order to justify their sins. The Bible is clear that we should not use our "liberty" in ways that can cause others to stumble.  In fact we are to use this liberty to serve God and others.  Liberty is not a tool to be used to serve one’s self.  But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak. 1 Corinthians 8:9 KJV For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. Galatians 5:13 KJV As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God. 1 Peter 2:16 KJV Jesus gave us the best example to follow. He was God made flesh who came and dwelt among His own creation yet He did not come to be served. He came to serve us.  And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all. For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. Mark 10:44-45 So be wise with the liberty you have been entrusted with lest you fall but even more importantly, lest you cause others to fall.
