Here are the laws that have been violated:

Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them…

Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain…

Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy...

Honour thy father and thy mother…

Thou shalt not kill.

Thou shalt not commit adultery.

Thou shalt not steal.

Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

Thou shalt not covet…

The judgement is death. Eternal separation from God the Father in a flaming hell where there is no reprieve.

We are all guilty unless...

…” but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” – Jesus (Luke 13:3).

“Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God…Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God…Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.” – Jesus (John 3:3, 5 and 7)

The sentence for those who are guilty of violating God’s law is not given only to those who have violated all of God’s law.

It takes but one infraction to damn a soul to eternal punishment.

So all are guilty.

For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. James 2:10

This is easily seen in the analogy of a helicopter flying thousands of feet up in the air and a man hanging outside on a chain of ten links.

How many links does it take to send that man to his death?

While one violation condemns us to a just punishment of eternal hell it was one Man’s willing sacrifice of death that provided salvation unto eternal life to those who would believe on Him.
